1966

Company establishment

Norac entered the metallic stearate business with the acquisition of The Mathe Company in Lodi, New Jersey, and shortly thereafter, developed the patented and highly efficient COAD® manufacturing process.

1981

Groundbreaking production facility Helena, AR

Norac broke ground on a new production facility in Helena, Arkansas.

1990

Metallic stearate production moved to Helena, AR

Metallic stearate production was moved to Helena.

2004

Company name changed to Norac Additives

The company name was changed to Norac Additives. Thereby our division embarked on a product program to expand and build upon the core competence of metallic stearate chemistry. Significant investments have been made in both R&D technology as well as blending and production capacity.

2017

Acquisition by Peter Greven Group

Norac Additives was acquired by Peter Greven Group.

2020

Headquarters moved to Ambler, PA

The headquarters and R&D lab were relocated from Pomona, CA to Ambler, PA.
